I'm a homegrown alaskan looking to get away from the cold darkness of my hometown and truly cut loose and enjoy what the world has to offer. Working a summer seasonal job certainly provides for that.
I'm a gregarious, generous person who loves to make people laugh. I also love conversation. In fact I may talk too much for some, something I'm learning to pump the brakes on.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because the usual hostel circuit can be predictable, and getting a real feel for the local energy is hard to do out of a youth hostel
I like to write, I like to read, I like to make people laugh. I like arduous treks as well as relaxing on a beach for days on end. Food is probably my greatest interest.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all types of music!
Right now listening to
John Steinbeck, anything he's done.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't like to brag, anything I do I wouldn't necessarily call amazing.
However I did make some killer homemade Christmas cards for my grandma and my dad this Christmas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to tell stories as much as I love to hear them
I also am pretty good at fixing everyday things, being from the alaskan bush I'm fairly well versed in home repairs.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Laos, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam
