I'd love to show people around the exciting city of Toronto this summer as well as stay with amazing people in Iceland
I'm excited to get started on couch surfing and to expand my horizons by meeting/hosting people from all over the world. I enjoy cooking, telling stories, laughing and entertaining people. I keep a positive outlook on life and want to surround myself with people of the same disposition.
Small random acts of kindness matter. Live each day as if it is our last.Surround yourself with people who are positive and have a good sense of humour.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am brand new to couch surfing and looking forward to spending time with hosts in Iceland
Discovering the undiscovered, feature film script writing, film editing, property investing, antique markets, auctions, charity fundraising events, Toronto Film Fest, reading blogs on art and culture, jogging, fascinated with the organic food movement, sheep farming, Iceland, restoration of old furniture, project management, creating art pieces, social media, visiting micro breweries + wineries.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Hanna, Ghost Busters Inside Job, Marie Antoinette, The Lovely Bones.....honestly, there are so many.
Books/Mags: The Economist, Paul Arden's book "It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be" + many, many more....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Christmas morning 2003 I helped give birth to a baby lamb on a large sheep farm in Northern Ireland. Amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Toronto has an amazing and growing film community. I'd love to show some of the ongoing exhibitions we have here. We're very diverse in terms of culture (anglo's are now the minority) - this makes a city with a rich vibrant tapestry.
Personally speaking, I'm more than happy to share my knowledge in new media, project management etc.
