About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be my best self

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly enough 18-year-old with a tendency towards self-deprecating humor...though I'm trying to work on that. I have a love of photography, though little to no talent for it. I adore making new friends, trying new things and dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

Bite your tongue and take a risk. It might just be worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I can't offer a couch to perspective travellers, I am more than happy to take anyone interested out for coffee and/or a tour of the city. I was born and raised on the Montreal Plateau. I've grown up loving this city and exploring as much of it as I can. I've come to gain a real feel for the place in my short 18 years here, and would happy to give anyone my personalized tour.

Meanwhile, I'm also interested traveling myself. For the moment I can't go far - I'd say my travels will be limited to Eastern Canada until at least next summer - but that doesn't stop me from being interested in discovering new places. My current hope is to make it to Peterborough, Huntsville and North Bay before September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experience with the project yet. I'm a total virgin.

Interests

taking bad photos, shopping in thrift stores, reading anything I can get my hands on, dancing at any time, having tea in a small cafe (and many other things that would only make me sound even more pretentious).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Too many, but recent ones are - Revolutionary Road, Lullabies for Little Criminals, Poems of Wendy Cope and Emily Dickinson and my absolute favorite will always be the Gemma Doyle Trilogy.

Movies: The Trotsky, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Departed.

Music: The Beatles, R.E.M., Noisettes, and others that don't come to mind at 11:58pm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my scooter through the streets of Cote-Des-Neiges in the pouring rain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't tear your ligaments...unless you like surgery, that is.
