I´m Corinna, a psychology student from Germany. As you can see from my pictures I love spending time traveling and reading but during the past few years I have been quite busy studying . In my free time I try to meet friends as often as possible (like most people do, I guess) and I always enjoy meeting new people and getting to know different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of visiting a city by seeing it from the perspective of a local person. In my experience touristguides don´t provide the information about a place that I´d like to have (like where to have lunchbreak, the best way to get around town or a cozy bar with cheap beer or wine). For me, couchsurfing means, that I´m able to travel to places I haven´t been before (as a student I don´t have much money for that - but couchsurfing makes it cheaper) and get to know people - two things combined, that I like a lot. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is a wild mixture of westafrican rhythms, rap and independent, but when it comes to clubbing electronical music would always be my first choice. Same about books: I´d read anything from non-fictional stuff about physics to sciencefiction (e.g. Neal Stephenson) or childrensbooks (e.g. Walter Moers books about the continent Zamonien).
