meeting honest people who are immersed in this complex changing world
I'm an adventurer and artist - exploring the inner and outer worlds. Finding metaphors for experiences and turning them into narrative.
I also lead Himalaya trekking expeditions and 4x4 overland tours in Southern Africa . But I can sit in one spot for a long time and just be. Maybe most of all I love a wild party with spirited people conversing in philosophical undertones!
living is everything, mere existing is not an option! magic happens when you care ...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Magic is created when the right elements mix in the right context. It is great to interact with locals or to host foreigners and listening to their stories and maybe find common ground.
I joined CouchSurfing in 2010 just before I went on a journey across Northern Europe. There I stayed with wonderful people.
And then back in South Africa I've hosted individuals, couples and groups from Europe, the Middle East and North and South America who were as much fun.
Recently I travelled 23 000 km through the whole USA in 6 months. Again great people hosted me.
They reaffirmed my faith in humanity (sometimes a difficult thing if you live in SA). We had good times!
