Hi there :) what you should know about me is, that I approach life in a curious and yet relaxed way.
That I like to solo-travel as often as I can and meet new company while doing so.
While exploring a new city I enjoy to walk around and discover places by chance rather than using a map or following a fixed route.
In the past couple of years I mostly travelled through Europe but recently visit Korea quite frequently, partly due to prepare for a second Master degree in Peace Studies.
Even though I studied fashion design and lately transitioned to being a freelance illustrator my interests where always connected to social sciences and fields related to society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience with couchsurfing was in early August 2011, when I hosted a girl from Seoul before I was leaving for Korea later that month for the first time. We had such a great time together that we befriended each other and met up whenever we were in the respective country and time allowed it. She even came shorthandedly to my graduation fashion show.

So in my opinion couchsurfing has not only the ability to connect people but to support them to get a deeper understanding about each others culture and lifestyle.
And sometimes it can even create bonds of friendships which will last further.
