About Me

I am a voice, speech and dialect coach, meaning I work in the theater/film/tv coaching actors. For example, if an actor gets a role and they need to learn a particular dialect, I can coach them on how to speak in that dialect. PLEASE don't ask me to speak in a British dialect lol.

I am an Army Brat (something I am very proud of) and I have lived in a few different places growing up, so it's difficult to say where I am "from". I am really into art and culture. I love visiting museums and learning history.

I am very new to Couchsurfing and I am really excited, but that also means I am not able to currently provide references, but please feel free to ask me any questions or reach out with concerns.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Being an Army Brat I grew up around all different types of people, and frankly I am most comfortable when I am in a diverse atmosphere.

Whenever I travel, it is important for me to learn the history of where I am and respect the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I genuinely listen to ALL types of music. My favorite band lately is a band called Zeal and Ardor. I can listen to classical and then completely switch it up to rap or heavy metal. I have always loved listening to film scores. James Horner and James Newton Howard being two of my favorite composers.

Books- anything inspiring or dealing with history.

Movies- Huge movie buff! Let’s chat about film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole trip to Ireland was amazing, I can't wait to go back :) . Visiting Inishmore was hands down one of the most amazing things I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the PROPER way to say Ukulele (you are probably saying it incorrectly).

What I Can Share with Hosts

First and foremost, I am extremely tidy so you don't have to worry about me leaving behind a mess, I actually LOVE to clean, so I'm down to pitch in with chores. I wish I could say I cook, but it's not my strong point lol. I will not show up empty handed, but my gifts tends to contain alcohol so it's important to know if you drink or not.

I enjoy a deep conversation over a glass of wine or cocktail. I really like to have a space to talk about life, challenges and to provide support and comfort. I am a history and art buff so I am a great museum buddy if you need one. Also, I worked in the service industry for a very long time, so I can provide great wine and beer recommendations!
