To serve others and break even as well as explore all the different aspects of the world. I just want to be alive!
I'm 19 years old and ready to experience life outside of the only two places I've lived: Idaho and Nebraska. My parents have raised me to believe that I can do anything that I want and whatever it is that I want to do, it can happen if I put my heart and soul into it. I will be graduating from Brigham Young University in Idaho April of 2016 and it cannot come soon enough!! My major is International Studies and I plan to minor in Creative Writing. I have a passion of writing blogs and in journals about my daily life and thoughts that I have. I recently broke off an engagement because I realized that I had gone too far away from my dreams to fit his own. I am only 19 and I can do whatever I want and being married is not something I want to do right now. I love to travel and experience life through other's eyes. I hope someday that I can write about others and their lives full of happiness and trials.
Right now I don't live my life the way I truly want to because my schooling is kind of getting in the way. I want to live simply and I want to experience life. I don't want to be that person who reads about other's experiences. I want to be the one writing about my cultural experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never had an experience like this before but I hope to in the very near future with some buddies!
I enjoy writing my blog from time to time. Music has always been a very inspirational and insightful thing in my life.
Music, Movies, and Books
80s, The Beatles, 90s, alt pop, rock, pretty much any kind of music is what I'm into!!! Besides country and opera.
I am an avid movie watcher. Harry Potter, Silver Linings Playbook, Tommy Boy and Monsters University are among my favorite movies!
I enjoy reading but only when it is a real book. None of that kindle stuff! I need the real deal so that the book is more a reality than JUST a book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've participated in the program Relay For Life for about 6 years now. My mom had cancer before I came into this world and if it wasn't for her low doses of chemo that the Dr. had given her, I would not be typing this today! I have many family members that have passed away from/survived cancer and I feel that I should give back to them and fight their battles even after they have gone to a better place. I feel that this is a very amazing thing that I have done in my lifetime because this is one of the most important things that I can do to feel that I am still helping my family members and others around the world fight their lost battles.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico
