Hi! I'm Courtney!
I'm fairly new to the couchsurfing community but have been traveling for quite a few years now. I love exploring new cities and meeting new people. I've visited most of Europe on a solo trip where I met loads of new friends.
I've lived in Denver my whole life and am happy to call it home but I'm eager to see what the rest of the world has to offer.
I'm pursuing my degree right now while also working as a criminal defense investigator. Trying to travel as much as I can before my career gets busier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't tried couch surfing yet but really like the concept and am excited to experience it during my travels in Australia. I think it's a great way to immerse yourself in the culture of a foreign city and do things that you typically wouldn't if you were staying in a resort or hotel. I love getting to know new people, going on adventures, and experiencing different cultures. I'll be in Australia most of May so let me know if you'd like to meet up!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. I spend most of my summers catching concerts at Red Rocks, or exploring small music venues in Denver. The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Jon Bellion, and Ed Sheeran are my favorite artists but I'm open to any kind of new music. I'd much rather spend money on concert tickets and experiences rather than materialistic things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Iceland, London, Paris, Florence, and Cadiz by myself. I've been an introvert most of my life, so that adventure really challenged me to put myself out there, try new things, and take risks. Traveling by train through the countryside of London, drinking beer on the coast of Spain with new friends, finding an underground concert in Italy, and eating crepes under the Eiffel Tower are just a few of my favorite adventures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories from all of my adventures around the States, teach you about American culture (I promise it's better than our reputation gives us) and I'd love to learn about other languages, cultures, and lifestyles.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to get to know you and the lifestyle you live everyday. I'm very clean, respectful, and appreciative of anyone who is willing to host me during my travels. I will leave your place cleaner than when I arrived and love sharing stories and memories with strangers who will hopefully become friends during my stay.
