ABOUT ME

I'm from a pretty small town in Southern Ontario. I knew from a young age that I wanted to travel. Growing up in Simcoe was a bit like growing up in a bubble. When I was 18 I went away to college, but it wasn't my thing. I choose the wrong program, my passion was travelling. So I left school after a year, and applied for a job as an Aupair, and in less than 2 weeks I was flying to England alone, to meet a random family i had selected online. Sketchy, yes, but it ended up being one of the best expierences I've ever had! I'm so happy i took that chance. That was the start of my travel bug, and it hasnt stopped yet. In fact I've just returned home from a year and a half away, and Im already itching to get away again!
Aside from travelling I love to dance,and took lessons for a big part of my life. I love music, and always have a song in my head,and I like hanging out with frieds over a beer.
I'm pretty easy going, and travelling has taught me to be patient, because things dont run on your time, they run on "fiji time" or whatever country's "time" your ine. Buses to your next city are 2hrs late, shuttles to airports show up early,and there is always someone on your tour who takes forever returning to the group!
I like to laugh, and find small silly things funny. I myself have a pretty sarcastic sense of hummour.
I LOVE the beach. I haven't met a beach I didnt like.
When the waves are big, you'll find me out in the water splashing about in them until I've swallowed to much sea water. It was my favourite thing to do as a kid, and the novelty hasn't warn off :)
Ive recently moved to England on a two year visa and Im currently living in Nottingham. I am living with a couple people, so im not really able to have guests as our couch is a bit small. But Im happy to meet for coffee or drinks, and chat with other travellers.

PHILOSOPHY

To always find happiness, and when i stop being happy, move on. Whether it be location, relationships, work etc. If its not making you happy, why are you doing it?

Im a newbie, but Id love to start getting the hang of this! Im always up for meeting new people and chatting away over coffee and drinks. I love hearing various traveller stories.

Also Loved the Girl with the dragon tattoo series! was awesome long bus journey material!
Music-Changes frequently, a few all time faves are Kings of Leon, City and Colour, Foo Fighters, and the Beatles.
Movies-pretty much anything from super girly to scary, or action. Anything that keeps my attention! (and maybe has some eye-candy?)
