I am an easy going person who loves travelling, new experiences and meeting new people. I am finishing of my final year of social work studies in 2014 but first I am going travelling in the Philipphines for a month in jan/feb.
I'm still trying to work out my personal philosophy (and enjoying the process) but in the meantime I try to live in the moment and be open minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
No participation yet but I don't mind washing dishes.
None yet, but would love to have some!
Travelling, music, festivals, art, camping, being outside, exploring, swimming, beer, laughing, drinking tea and eating noodles, long bizarre conversations about anything.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read, some good ones: Salman Rushdie, Jack Kerouac, John Steinbeck, Crime and Punishment, Lord of the Rings, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, anything really and I really enjoy talking to people about books they love.
Not such a movie fan, but two favorites would be: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Gran Tourino
However love TV shows: Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Recreation, Community, The Office, South Park and Friends.
Massive music fan and enjoy a large range of music; have recently started listening to psychedelic trance. In Australia one of my favorite things to do it to go to bush doofs and I'd love to meet people who go to or know of psytrance parties.
I love post punk bands, some metal (lamb of god, tool) and also like reggae, some hip hop, dub, indie rock, electronica, anything really and I really enjoy learning about what types of music other people love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge, China
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I could share: I know a fair bit about art and love going to galleries.
I would like to learn how to surf and skateboard much better.
