Amy and Craig have been living in Vancouver for about two years. Craig writes short fiction, teaches ESL, and volunteers at a community center; Amy studies bioinformatics and plays roller derby.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We originally had some marvellous experiences on warmshowers.org, where hosts provide couches and, yes, warm showers, for touring cyclists. (In June 2011 Amy and Craig cycled from Seattle to San Francisco. On their bicycles.)

In 2013 Craig cycled around New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachussetts, Rhode Island, and New York, staying with wonderful Couchsurfing and warmshowers hosts. ( http://biketour2013.tumblr.com/tagged/biketour2013/chrono )
