ABOUT ME

Please note that summer is unfortunately not a good time for me to host, as most of the time I am away from home doing fieldwork. You may try since early autumn and I'll see what I can do. Also when wishing to contact me, please write to cristiinax@hotmail.com. I sometimes forget to check my CS inbox so I might not get your messages in time.

What I value about sites like these is the possibility of meeting local people. Regular tourism and sightseeing are great too, but what I've realized through my hosting and surfing experience is that what is a lot more awesome is communicating with the people who consider the places their homes. It gives the journey a whole different dimension to talk to insiders. I have also learned a lot this way about my home country, too.

Above all, I value tolerance, open-mindedness and respect for others. I would love to hear stories about and listen to music from your country and share mine. As a thank you, I can cook something "Estonian".

As a host, I will recommend to you fascinating places to visit, I can join you to find museums, historical sites, underground bars,... I do not expect you to cook or clean for me, unless you want to. But I would appreciate it if you left my place as relatively clean as you found it. :) Actually I'm sure that goes without saying.
