I am happy, open minded, and grateful for the life that I live; my family, my friends, my experiences - both simple and profound (which are often one and the same). I am currently traveling through Europe and have also reunited with my family in Rome. Traveling is always eye and mind opening...I love it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I kept hearing about it and decided to try it out. I love meeting people, and prefer to stay with locals to hotels. Plus... what an amazing concept! I have surfed once now and I love it.

Night diving in the Great Barrier reef - I imagine it's the closest thing to outer space I'll ever experience.

I know a little bit about a lot of things, and I'm a teacher at heart, even though I'm not in the classroom anymore. I enjoy helping people, even with little everyday things. I try to gain perspective from people and cultures that are different from mine. I am always learning!
