Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is indie rock, but I'm really open to most types of music...especially if it is happy and upbeat! I don't watch too many movies, but I enjoy Wes Anderson and Miyazaki films. I also LOVE Harry Potter (books and movies). I don't get to read often, but I love fiction. I'm currently reading a great book called The Geography of Bliss. Oh! I'm a HUGE The Office fan, and am hooked on wrestling (WWE)...yes, I know it's fake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moments I am most proud of and feel like I've done something amazing are when I get to volunteer in my community. My job recently participated in the Houston Pride Parade and I felt honored to be a part of something so huge and so important. I believe greatly in human rights, but I also love our senior citizens, so when we have events at our senior centers, such as a senior prom (yes, like the high school prom), my heart does back flips. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to teach the world to be a little more open and love our neighbors. I'd like to learn more about other cultures. I hope to share happy memories with friends I meet along the way.

I enjoy long, meaningful conversations. I am incredibly open minded and positive, so I can bring that energy to any environment. I am also a pretty decent cook :)
