ABOUT ME

Hello all! I'm Bre. I'm just your typical young-adult trying to figure out what I want in life. I work full time for a production company called Radish Creative Group. When I'm not working, I enjoy coming home, cooking an awesome meal, and relaxing with a beer. I love meeting new people, learning, and exploring. I've been a few places but there is so much of the world to see. As much as I love Michigan, I'm feeling it's my time to go. The question is: Where!? I joined CS in hopes of meeting friends in places I've never been. This will give me a good excuse to get out there and make some memories!

I am a very open person and I'm always looking to make new friends. If you have any questions, just ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I am just looking to travel when I can and meet some friendly faces. My house isn't exactly equipped for multiple house guests but if we became friends and you were in the area, I can always make room!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have little experience with the couch surfing website, however, I've surfed plenty of couches in my day. I am fortunate enough to have always had a home to lay my head down but I've also spent a lot of time laying my head elsewhere. I've been surfing my friends couches for years! I just really enjoy good company.

I could ramble on for days...but here is what comes to mind:

music, literature, movies, design, photography, live shows, art, people, places, spaces, energy, poetry, travel, oddities, hugs, sunrise, full moons, hammocks, nature, rooftops, bacon, kittens.

I have a strong passion for nice red doors. I enjoy doing anything from exploring abandoned city factories to camping and swimming naked in streams. City, suburb, country. I don't care. I want to be there and I want to know and see everything the world has to offer. So...I suppose I am interested in anything and everything.

The Kills, The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, Warpaint, Modest Mouse, Atmosphere, Fiona Apple, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Deftones, Gorillaz, Bassnectar, Radiohead, Prince, Fugazi, Fleedwood Mac, Arctic Monkeys, Beck, Incubus, The Black Keys, Cake, Portishead, Cat Power, Led Zeppelin, Tegan & Sara, The Doors....I feel like this could take a while. Let's just say I like everything but country music.

Books: I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd. Brett Easton Ellis. Perks of Being a Wallflower. Edgar Allan Poe. Shakespeare. House of Leaves. Lewis Carrol. Any book to do with any band I've ever loved. The most recent book I've read is Just Kids by Patti Smith. It was beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met The Kills once. I've tasted the color purple. Danced on stage with Afrika Bambaataa. Escaped death multiple times. Everyday is amazing.
