ABOUT ME

I'm Crystal, and Im 24 from Brooklyn originally. Nowadays I do brain imaging research in Atlanta. Erin is my sister, shes 19, lives in BKLYN and this summer we're doing some traveling in Europe for the FIRST TIME EVER. We are really really laid back, and fairly ridiculous. We're hoping to walk around a lot. while I'm sure we'll end up doing some tourist stuff, we've always had the best experiences exploring the streets with no particular aim. We want to have fun, and meet people, and adventure, but as is our custom we have no particular expectations.

PHILOSOPHY

This would have been so easy 8 years ago... umm.. I wont go so far as to say this is my goal in life BUT; If i could find away to be perceptive, opinionated and, honest, but without becoming judgmental and bitchy.. I would feel set. This is really hard, but I do try to find a balance

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went Couch Surfing with my friend (then boyfirend) Karl Okeson in China back in 2009. I was really impressed with the couch surfing scene in Beijing, and I've been wanting to get involved ever since. Currently I live in a studio and have no couch. but someday i will get a futon... and maybe one of those fake wall things... Kinda unrelated, but Our family makes money on the side renting rooms to foreign students, so hosting is kinda in our blood.

Interests

This is hard, I hate interests. I like science, and I love cities where you don't need cars... and i love markets that have crazy looking food... My sisters really cool, and she likes things. We both like beer.
