Hey there! My name is Crystal and I am a freelance artist from New York City.
I have spent most of my life in the "Big Apple" so I'm currently trying to expand my horizons and seek adventures in many places. My traveling companion is my wonderful boyfriend Dairon, who is also an amazing artist in his own right. We are both vegetarians but don't mind if others are not. We are happy and excited to share our experiences with others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couch surfing as a means to travel on a budget and get to know a the global community. Life isn't meant to be lived in a box and I believe humans are definitely social creatures and should live active lives, always learning and always growing.
We should share our unique experiences with others in an effort to make the world a more welcoming and exciting place to live.

Interests

We have a wide range of interests and hobbies. They mostly encompass various forms of art. We enjoy trips to museums and galleries. Enjoying nature and the outdoors is a high priority for us but we also crave the excitement of big city night life.
Beer and white wine are our drinks of choice. Throw in some good vegetarian food and that's what we are about in a nutshell. Eat well, live well, be swell.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are willing to give art lessons, share what we know about cameras and photography, we can also share stories about our travels and living in New York City. I know tips and tricks for budget travel. I am also willing to share tips on transitioning into being a vegetarian as well as cooking or sharing recipes. I like to cook so I can cook a meal for any of our would be hosts! We are also into spirituality, healing and yoga so we can share what we know about that as well. We are willing to learn about everything we can!
