Hi there!

Apologies for the brevity - my couch surfing journey has only just begun :-)

I am a recent transplant to the bay area, by way of Boulder, CO. I moved to Boulder in 2006 to do both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Contemplative Psychology (otherwise known as Buddhist Psychology), so you could say I'm a big fan of things like wisdom, healing, community, spirituality, and service.

I'm currently working as a virtual assistant and program manager for Tosha Silver, who is an author and spiritual teacher in the bay. She's not the kind of teacher I would have sought out on my own, so I was extra surprised to find myself deeply moved and transformed by her work and extra grateful to become her friend. I'm also working on re-starting my therapy practice, having stepped away from it for a few years to ramble about and experiment with a more open-ended approach to engaging life.

I'm not really "from" anywhere, having moved around as much as I have in this life. Boulder was really the only place that ever felt like home, but it had gotten a bit too small for me and I needed... oh, you know, I needed some sparkly, juicy, slightly scary new stuff to play with.
