ABOUT ME

I currently am traveling around the world for a year! Was traveling with my friend Jenny and now am on my own but still having a blast! I will return to the states in 2008!

I went to the University of Nevada Reno, where I finished my degrees in International Affairs and Spanish. I "studied abroad" a lot. I have studied in Chile, Australia, Costa Rica, Thailand, and Mexico.

I got accepted to NYU for graduate school, but I pushed that back until 2008 for obvious reasons. I love to travel, have fun, and meet new people!

PHILOSOPHY

A life you don't live is still lost. Do as much as you can while you are here on this earth and don't waste a minute!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I heard about the project, I thought it was crazy, and then after hearing all the success stories and having done it myself, I thought it would be a good way to meet (and help) the travelers of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, as of now, I only have surfed on friends (or friends of friends) couches, but all the expereinces were great. It is ALWAYS better to know a local when going to a new place. You learn about the best things to do.

Interests

Traveling and meeting new people of course, but besides that my family and friends, moives, music, television, architecture and I love HISTORY - especially in S. America :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Changes every week!

Movies: Clue, The Net, In America, Big Fish, Finding Neveraland, Hotel Rawanda, Little Miss Sunshine, and I see every movie possible and I will not walk out of a movie no matter how bad.

Television: ALIAS!!!!! The rest is good, but not as good (even though 4th season is not its best). CSI, LOST, Without a Trace, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, The Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, The Nine, Heros, and I hate to admit it, but Las Vegas. Also, I am a big fan of the HISTORY channel. If I start with that channel I can't stop!

Books: Wicked, Davinci Code

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to say just one, but going to Machu Pichu was phenomenal and Easter Island was also one of my hightlights in life. In the states, I was once on the Price is Right and that was pretty cool, but for sure not the best thing I have ever done :)
