Overview
About Me
I was born and raised outside in the Middle East, coming from a mixed background where my mom is from a minority tribe and my dad is from here meaning I have multiple religion family background and cultures.
I currently reside in Uttara, which is less than 2 km away from the airport, an upper middle-class neighborhood, as many like to label it.
It's beside the metro start point, as well as many villages, rivers, and countryside, unlike the heart of Dhaka. Here we can hop on a bus ride to a rickshaw ride once you land and early in the morning or even at sunrise at the village side if we plan out by avoiding traffic routes.
I am a great navigator, as I am a cyclist, plus an event management consultant. Why I am able to help ease challenges we all may face and keep it real as is and not sugarcoat stuff.
I have been to 20-plus nations and 5 continents since I started traveling at the age of 16 and lived in over 5 countries and 3 continents.
Currently involved in many G2G meets and more
Studied at an international school and had kids from all backgrounds and nationalities, and diversity is insane as 70% were all different backgrounds.
I am currently a consultant for a sports management consulting firm involved in marathons, bicycle races, triathlons, and all.
I tend to travel on almost most weekends to marathon venues for refree works which means you will end up staying alone at my place with a set of keys I give to fellow travellers
Also an IT firm dot com guy who works mainly at night because it matches my office in the USA times.
Have had the opportunity to host many people from here and also personal references.
If you are a female solo traveler and not very comfortable staying at a place alone, just let me know, because I can just ask my sister to join you at the 2 separate beds I have set up and have each other's company. She is a sports referee and an English lit teacher for over one and a half decades and a gamer of consoles.
I have hosted 4 solo single female travellers so far including the CS ambassador.
I plan to ensure that there are no awkward situations and tiptoeing around and have people enjoy their travel at their convenience.
I am literally one in a million who lives alone, as Bangladesh is a large family-oriented country, and they all live with their parents even when married.
I do accept last minute request which happened many times after fellow traveller needed to change their current host situation or even arrived late night
I have consulted many vloggers who have been here in terms of shooting ideas after having a short discussion, as I am always able to come up with ideas and plans accordingly as I work on event management for thousands of people on a weekly basis, marketing, and even business startups.
Do read some of the references I have; I have had more people stay last year but lost the account in the middle of it all.
Please note I have hosted more people than I got references which after talking to many informed me that's uncool , so really do appreciate it if you have more than 1 person they do send a request too and book the calendar will be highly appreciated.
I am an active cyclist and get around the city using a bicycle. 🚲 If you are a good rider, we can go for a sunrise 🌄 bike ride around my hood, which is calm and open space, and we have rivers and small lakes nearby.
