About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to see my son... Can you help?

ABOUT ME

I used to be normal. Then I lost my business, my house, my cars, my family....

At least I was able to lose 40 pounds by not being able to afford food! :-)

My most recent job was driving the paratransit vehicles
for SEPTA (Philadelphia public transit). I had to move
on because I simply wasn't getting compensated for all
of the (long!) hours I worked.

Some opportunities opened up in Bethlehem, PA, and so
I took them, but unfortunately, I still haven't found
a "real job". I continue to look. At least I can climb a mountain (South Mountain) every day... the key word being, "can"! :-)

In the mean time, I am starting to teach English over
the Internet, using the Skype voice service. You can see my professional blog at http://EnglishWithDavid.com , and my personal blog is at http://d4b.livejournal.com .

I am very comfortable with animals. I even captured a wild possum recently, and set it free in the woods.

Oh, and I DO NOT SMOKE!!

Thanks for reading!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week with four strangers, hiking the Canyonlands of Utah with 75 pounds on my back. The temperature swung 60° (F) up and down every day, with sweltering desert at noon, and snow and hailstorms at night!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've started teaching English conversation over the Internet: http://EnglishWithDavid.com .
