Current mission... I feel as if I need to make this a statement addressing not only the present, but past and future tense. My mission is endless.
I feel like an ocean wave, building and building itself up just waiting for that moment it gets to release its energy.
I've had a good life, a fantastic life, and I have no reason to be anything but grateful. However, I'm craving for extremes. I am an incredibly comfortable person; I'm comfortable to be with, and also I'm able to make my self comfortable in most situations. What I mean by this is that I am not afraid to confront a situation with an open mind, which is something I believe many of us struggle with, and out of this lack of comfort comes the tensions that precede violence or other negative situations.
I might be getting a bit off topic, but I just want you to know that if you and I ever meet in person, I will genuinely try to discover who you are and find a way to connect with you, because I find that just so important.
That's basically what I'm working on: Becoming aware, comfortable, and confident with who I am and who I am becoming.
With that being said, I am always interested in a good conversation about mostly anything.
I am dying to learn.
Think happy thoughts.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Really only a few so far, and they were far too short, but definitely rewarding.
Music is the central aspect of my life. However, I'm interested in many things.
I appreciate: photography, films, all music, hiking/backpacking, nature, city life, hot tubs, food (major sweet tooth).
Music, Movies, and Books
The Fountain, Pans Labyrinth, Brick, Blue like Jazz, TLOTR, Sigur Ros, Thrice, Radiohead, Chris Thile, Richard Strauss, Frederic Chopin, Pat Metheny, Animals as Leaders, Circa Survive, Derek Trucks, Bobby McFerrin, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunrise over the Dead Sea from the top of Masada has to be at the top of the list for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've just graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a B.S. in Jazz Studies, guitar performance. So, that means I could show you a couple things on the ol' geetar! Musically, I think the best way to learn is to just play, so if you're into that, let's play.
As most of us are, I'm a student of life, and I wish I was more well versed in other areas of life, but I'm growing. I'm good at improvising (in any sense), whether it's coming up with a creative meal, or finding something to do, I love thinking outside the box!
