About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hi Everyone!! Planning to get lost in Europe for the summer!

ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone! I am new to Couchsurfing, but so far it sounds incredible. I work full time in advertising in New York City, but lately I have felt stifled and trapped in the city I group up in. It is amazes me daily how ignorant a city full of so many bright people can be. Despite all the experiences NYC has provided me with, I still don't feel like have truly lived yet. Thats what I am here to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you would like to be treated. Always look somebody in the eye when you are speaking or listening to them...and smile :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't really had the chance to yet, but I am dying to try! I plan on landing in London on June 5th then Italy for 3 weeks on June 8th for a teaching program in the North. After that, I plan on just getting lost with a backpack and my camera. So if anyone has any insight or itinerary suggestions, I am all ears!!!

Interests

I am very interested in art, world music, photography, people, culture, FOOD (I love all types of food), dancing and making genuine connections with people that have good energy...and the occasional pint or 4...

Music, Movies, and Books

There are waaaay to many to count. Portishead, Zero 7, Radiohead, Muse, Kasabian, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin...the list goes on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The cliffs in Ireland were breathtaking, but so were the flats that some of the poor children lived in.

The cathedral at Notre Dame, and the wind at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you come to New York, you must try the street meat. Don't question its origin, just eat it. Fantastic and cheap!

Go to Long Island City and hang out at the Queensbridge piers. Probably the best view of Manhattan you will ever see!

Don't wait on line for clubs! They suck anyway. Go to a bar where people are much nicer!

Manhattan (Midtown)is overrated...But still pretty amazing. Head waaaay uptown to Fort Trion Park and the cloisters. Absolutely beautiful and great for picnics...

The list goes on and on...shoot me a message if you'd like to know more!
