About Me

CURRENT MISSION

August 2012 I took my bike and started travelling, wanting to get to know the people behind the languages I speak, their culture, their daily life ... I started with France, spend two years there and made nearly 5000 km. Now I'm heading for England.

ABOUT ME

I am curious to see whether it's possible to combine work and travel (well, the point is that I'm having difficulties to discipline myself and sit down to work as I prefer very much taking my bike and cycle around. But I will improve. And reduce my life style i.e. expenses.)
And I find it very important and enlightning to get to know the people whose languages I speak.

PHILOSOPHY

every day, every experience contributes to the big puzzle of life and what it's all about

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Instead of Camping (which can get very lonely sometimes) I would like to learn to adapt to any kind of people and their respective lifestyle. And when I eventually settle down again I will be happy to host people at my place in order to keep in touch with the outer world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like "Babel" as film, my favourite music is 1) don Giovanni (Mozart), 2) deutsches Requiem (Brahms), 3) Bruckners 4. Symphony, I like Bonnie Raitt and Pink Floyd and a lot more, I love reading books in their original language but find it sometimes hard to get into "serious literature". I like T.C. Boyle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
