Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been traveling quite a few times. I appreciate the opportunity of meeting new people sharing the same ideas, discovering their hometown.
At the moment, I'm not much of a museum guy when traveling, since I think the best way to discover a city for the first time is being well- advised by a local, as well as going out with him for a drink.
Living in Lille, I usually invite people to stay over and discover the main bars in town. Of course, handling belgium beers is required !
I haven't been using Couchsurfing that much lately, mainly hosting eramus students through ESN, an association dedicated to helping foreign student fitting in the city.
Guitar. I also play the drum and the trombone in a brass band, record some songs on my computer, write some songs when inspired. Making music from time to time with some friends.
Music festivals and concerts in general.
Biomedical science also. I've been working on several projects, from prosthetic hands to neurostimulators, and I'm now thinking about starting a company in that field.

None, many ?
A two-years project that meant a lot to me that I finished recently : It consisted in a video game designed to help children from 3 to 5 yrs old, born with an arm-agenesis, to learn how to use a prosthetic hand.
Teach, Learn, Share
More than teaching, I like confronting points of view with strangers.
Currently, I'm interested in transhumanism, and all the drifts we can experienced with nowadays technologies. Mainly ethical considerations.
