ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing singer/songwriter from St. Louis, MO who is currently learning how to tend bar. I love to read, watch T.V. (only on the internet where I can enjoy my favorite shows and skip the rest), engage in interesting conversations with new people, and experience new places and perspectives. All of these things inspire me to write, and other than my mother, there is nothing I love more than writing.

Books:

Currently reading "The Elements of Eloquence" by Mark Forsyth
Anything by James Baldwin, please. So far I've only read "The Fire Next Time" in my adulthood. For shame.

Movies:

I love the Marvel flicks (have yet to see Guardians of the Galaxy so no spoilers please) but my taste tends to run the gamut from there all the way to movies like Amélie, a film that to this day can still break a brother and leave me melancholy.

T.V.
How much time ya got? I seriously can't list them all for fear that I will miss a very important one. Let's just say I watch all of the good shows. haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've scaled the scales of the corporate dragon and kept my soul intact. And by that I mean I've seen/heard my songs used by major companies for a movie trailer, and two television shows. Thankfully we retained ownership, and more importantly, our dignity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't believe I can teach anyone anything, although I know a few artists who have told everyone that I have taught them everything. It's a personal conversation in my humble opinion. It's a conversation that requires a more nuanced approach than simply typing words on the internet to be interpreted by -as of this moment- the occasional stranger.
