CURRENT MISSION

My mission is feel like part of a bigger picture. I feel like I have stood still a little and I want to skip hop and jump through the next few years on spontaneous encounters and experiences.

ABOUT ME

I'm 30 and been living in Liverpoool for 10 years, came to uni here , partied hard didn't work hard enough! I now work at the Uni I failed at, go figure! I have a yearning for travel that as yet I have not fulfilled and think CouchSurfing is a wonderful idea in getting me started. Its not just about me going places I like the thought of meeting people travelling through and making me enjoy the city I am in, checking out what is going on around me. I don't really have hobbies I try to stay fit so I can eat nice food. I LOVE to cook so unfortunatly the gym is a necessity. I read sometimes not in a prolific way but not just trash either. I love films and good comedy. I don't know alot about art even though i work in the Art dept of a Uni but i like to check out exhibitions and form my own uneducated opinions. I love talking to people who know things I have no idea about, my memory is crap so I don't always retain the info but I find it facinating at the time. In short I'm a normal kind of girl that would like some extra ordinary experiences in her life and I hope that couchsurfing can help with that.

Interests

Good books with a good message, same for films don't like anything too obvious, well that's not always true there are a few chick flicks that creep on my fave fims list :) Good nights out with friends, learning something new. I'm interested in the environment and what we are doing to the earth. I couldn't sleep for 3 days after watching an inconvienient truth! Reading about travel, there's so many places I dream of going, I'm interested in making those dreams a reality. I'm looking forward to meeting new people from different cultures and continents and interested in finding out things I have never heard of or realised I'm interested in.
