Hi!

I'm an actor, director and playmaker based in Chicago!

Dani Bryant is a Chicago-based devisor, director and performer. Originally from Tennessee, Dani attended The North Carolina School for the Arts and received her BFA from the Hartt School of Theater. Dani's solo show, Binge, was originally produced with the University of Chicago's Summer Incubation program. She has performed Binge at the Around the Coyote Festival, The ChiFringe Benefit, StudioBE & with Walkabout Theater. Her other food-based plays include Kitchen, Feminists Who Lunch, and Diets Are A Girl's Best Friend with Walkabout Theater, Molè with Adventure Stage Chicago & The Last Meal Man with Collaboraction. Dani's work is often site-specific and always devised. By hosting dinners to generate artistic content, her work begins by using social practice as an entry point. This summer Dani will begin Drama Therapy courses to enhance facilitation in social practice work as well as begin body positive workshops with Chicago's Viola Project--a Shakespeare program for teen girls. She is an artistic ensemble member of Adventure Stage Chicago where she also serves on staff.
