Overview
About Me
I am a post-graduate student of international politics and economics living in the West End of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I'm 22 years old and I live in a house share with five other students and professionals. I also work part time in catering. I grew up in East London and I am of Egyptian origin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am so keen to travel more and to do so in a manner which is affordable and which will enhance my social and language skills. In addition, I am also happy to meet and host people from all sorts of backgrounds who are interested in visiting Newcastle.
Interests
Amongst my desire to travel is a passion for the humanities and social sciences as well as some sporting and general social activities. I am trying to learn conversational French and trying to cook.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love popular music between the 60s-80s. My favorite groups are Queen, The Beatles and The Four Seasons. (My favourite musical is Jersey Boys)
I don't read much but when I do its predominantly non-fiction. I will read some random novels from time to time though.
I really enjoy films, mostly comedies and dramas but also action/adventure, documentaries and films based on true stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did save a life once, but that was really by accident.
I scored 98% on an economics test when I was 17.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English (and I have a certificate too). I can also do some academic subjects.
I want to learn French and to cook delinquently.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My general interests......and a nice piece of cake.
But I would like them to share with me too.
