In addition to being an educator, I work part time as a writer. I've written numerous articles for Bay Area publications on my favorite topics: food, drink, and adventures. By far my favorite thing to write about, though, is my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visiting a new place mean's getting to know its people as much, if not more, than it's landmarks.

I spent a summer in Brighton, England and a year in Osaka, Japan. The first time as a student, the second as a teacher. I loved being able to actually make relationships with the people there.
