My name is Daniel, I am from the Czech Republic and currently I am working in London, England.
About me: I think I'm a friendly guy. I'm an honest person and I'm open-minded. I don't have a problem to respect different opinions or even change my own if you convince me I'm wrong. Two years ago I discovered another passion in my life, and that is travelling. I would like to travel as much as possible but I'm limited with my vacation days. In January 2018, I am moving to New Zealand. It's going to be another huge step in my life. Travelling was never easier and in twenty years from now I don't wanna look back and regret anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I have made friends from all over the world from my university days and as well from working abroad. I would like to see people with different kinds of religion and culture. I love the diversity of travelling - new people, different opinions, different countries. The best thing on how to really discover the place where you are travelling is to be in touch with the people who are living there. They will show the places which are unknown to the rest of the travellers and they know a lot of interesting things!

Interests

I love sports and I am into bodybuilding. (I think it's good to say I'm trying :-D.) I love reading manga, listening to nice music. I love spending time with my family especially with my sister! I like hikin' especially mountains over 10 thousand feet! I still didn't conquer the Matterhorn in Switzerland but I will do that! (It's on my bucket list anyway so I have to).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into dance music and movie soundtracks. I love Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Rise Against and Kygo.

Favorite Movies: TIME, INCEPTION, INTERSTELLAR, MEMENTO and GLADIATOR and The Last Samurai. (Btw. Christopher Nolan knows how to do his job). Sometimes I prefer to read books instead of watching the movie but I don't have so much free time so it's hard.

I'm a huge Leonardo DiCaprio fan (Matthew McConaughey and Tom Hardy are rising stars on my list).

Favorite Books: Jeffrey Deaver, any books on World War II, Agatha Christie. I like Jeffrey because I like Lincoln Rhyme! WW2 books are my interests because it's huge and maybe the most important part of European history and of course, a sad part as well.

What I hate the most are fake people, people who are cheating in relationships and people who are rude to women.

Before my American adventure, a lot of people told me I'm not supposed to go there. "It's dangerous, they have a high crime rate". "Black people are dangerous." You know what? I had the best time of my life. And the black people who are supposed to be "the worst" were the most friendly and the nicest. I don't care if you are Muslim, Black, Jewish, Christian or anything else, if you are going to be nice to me I'm going to be nice to you.

Never judge people about their appearance! Travel, visit, talk and then make your own decision!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I have a big awareness about European history, about nations. I love geography so I'm really interested in all nice and famous places all around the world. If you wanna talk about politics, geography, history, travelling or poker I will be more than interested! (Phil Ivey is the Tiger Woods of poker).

I'm always trying to make my own opinion. I don't like to be mainstream. I'm thinking about things by myself.
