About Me

It’s a proven fact that Americans travel less than other countries do. Many say this takes away from our happiness. While I am young and without children I put seeing the world as one of my highest priorities. I’m 22 with a bachelors degree in finance from a local university in pennsylvania. I work as an operations intern at a trucking company. Before that I worked for staples for a little over a year and in the food business for 5 years. My aspirations are to invest in stocks, real estate and start some small businesses of my own. I love small business and that you can really get to know, help and love the community you live in and the people who reside there. I have been to several places which I will list below, but at the end of March I’m heading to NYC for a conference and in May I will be in universal studios for a few days which I am really excited about. In closing, I find myself in a position of traveling alone a lot. My friends I invite places often tend to be too busy, have conflicting schedules, have girlfriends that are controlling, have no money at all, or just don’t want to do anything. I can’t think that way so I want to make friends all over the place and eventually be able to host people where I end up living in the near future. :)

A few places I’ve been: gatlinburg, Malibu, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Provincetown , Newport Rhode Island, the breakers mansion, baltimore, Philadelphia, reading October fest, Boston, Providence, Bridgeport, the Biltmore estate, ocean city, universal studios and Disney Orlando, wildwood nj, New York City, Harrisburg, Buffalo ny, Niagara Falls, Watkins glen, the finger lakes, hersheypark, Busch gardens, cedar point, kings dominion, Maine, lake winnepasake, deep creek lake, rays town lake, Myrtle beach, Raleigh Nc, Shenandoah National Park, skyline drive, Luray caverns, Pittsburgh and Pittsburg zoo. Just to name a few places

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Over the last almost 15 years my best friend and I had great times and loved life! About a year ago he moved across the country to LA and I have not been able to find that special friend group that we once had. With that being said, I really like people. The world makes it out that there are nothing but bad things happening in the world, but if you really look around you can find some incredible people out there. So what I am looking for is the ability to travel even more than I have in the past. Nobody knows an area like the people who live there and the idea of making friends around the world is a goal of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm..I’ve done a lot of cool things. I guess parasailing in wild wood with my best friend and getting dipped in the middle of the ocean was cool but then so was going to Los Angeles in January this year. Also, going to Gatlinburg TN and touring distilleries and Dollywood one of my more memorable trips.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm.... my degree is in finance...and most people don’t want to learn capital structure and payment policy. Haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live back home for my last semester of college so unfortunately cannot host anyone:(. I can offer hosts a companion and a guest to spend time and talk about life with and hopefully make a lasting friendship.
