ABOUT ME

Following a rigorous questioning process in which all of my 'best friends' were consulted, the most common descriptive words produced included 'egotistical', 'attention seeking', and 'hippie' (which interestingly was always followed by the word 'wannabe'. Thus, it can be definitively concluded, according to my closest companions, that I am a joyous, humorous, and peaceful human being.. at least that's what I think they were trying to imply!

Interests

I graduated from the University of Leeds in the summer of 2012, before almost instantly traveling to Hendersonville, North Carolina to work as the guitar specialist at Blue Star camp. In my spare time I enjoy meditation practices and adrenaline-inducing activities, listening to Mahler's 9th symphony and Busted (English boy band who dominated world music between 2000-2005.. seriously, dominated), and watching the original Wallace and Gromit films. I also like tea.. and elephants too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last moment that left me awestruck occurred around mid-June at Chimney Rock State Park, North Carolina. As I pondered how on earth I intended to survive the 37 degree heat that was working effortlessly to melt my physical structure, the most beautiful music harmlessly entered my auditory system. I quickly discovered that the majestic sound was being emitted by a hammered dulcimer, and there upon the mountain swore on the name of Apollo that I would one day conquer this splendid instrument.
