ABOUT ME

I am a former engineer turned professional traveler. I started traveling in May '11 and I haven't stopped yet. I have discovered that I very much enjoy the company of other travelers and I want to make the most out of my time by sharing stories and experiences with those who also understand the allure jetting off somewhere on a whim. I am clean, kind, considerate and I usually find work wherever I am so I am not a mooch.

Interests

As far as leisure activities I enjoy: bicycling, rock climbing, playing guitar, cooking and drinking beer with friends (but I drink a lot less than your typical traveler). I am confused atm what my occupational interests are, after deciding that engineering was not for me I have started to consider computer programming as a career and have learned numerous languages but I really should go back to school when (if) I ever find the motivation. (Yep, I am a nerd, I am ok with that)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Rock climbing in Krabi. Free soloing in tropical waters out in a long tail boat with a good friend and then heading back for fish on the beach.

2. Karaoke in Tokyo after I determinedly rounded up everyone in the hostel that had and interest and seeing all the funny Japanese drunk people.

3. Shredding knee deep fresh pow at Wolf Creek ski resort with good friends.

I want to add more but I guess I will keep it at three.
