In a nutshell, I love reading, writing, running, watching movies, and meeting new people. To me, there is nothing better than reading Dickens with a beer by a fire on a cold winter night. P.G. Wodehouse, Geoffrey Chaucer, and Dave Barry are additional favorites because they make me laugh and enjoy life more. I love running every other day, even in the cold, and enjoy running with others who don't mind sharing the pain with me. Another passion is movies and filmmaking. My favorite movies range anywhere from The Muppets' A Christmas Carol to The Big Lebowski to Jurassic Park to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I also love camping, hiking, and just being out in nature generally. Finally, meeting new people, wherever they hail from, and finding out what drives them individually, is something I'm really growing to love as I travel more.

Amazing things: Running and finishing my first marathon in Birmingham, Alabama. Researching in the Stanley Kubrick Archive in London last January. Canoeing in the Canadian boundary waters with my dad some years back. And touching a Tasmanian Devil in Tasmania.
