About Me

ABOUT ME

Originally from Montreal, I recently moved to the UK to go to Medical School. I'm an avid traveler, mostly having done a couple of backpacking trips on my own (once with friends) and I cherish all experiences, however different they may be. My greatest passion, however, mostly lies with football (aka soccer). I play, I watch, I used to ref. We'll get along splendidly, especially if you love the German team.

PHILOSOPHY

Every experience - good, but especially the less good - is a learning experience. It's up to you to decide what you're going to make of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'm looking to surf. Hopefully, I would like to host, but that all depends on how my housemates (3 girls) feel about it. So I'll keep you posted!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed, but I have met others who have and have had only great things to say about it. It is one of those experiences that I'd like to try!

Interests

- Football, skiing, sports in general.
- Hunting down coffee shops
- Getting distracted by streets not marked on a map

Music, Movies, and Books

I wish I had more time to enjoy any of these!

But when I did have the time, I used to love reading the classics. Jane Eyre to Crime and Punishment to Lord of the Flies. I'm a more avid reader than movie-watcher...

When it comes to music, I can appreciate most, but 90s RnB and Hip-Hop are definitely my go-to. I especially love music if it's culturally related to a place I've visited, somehow, when I re-hear the song, it makes all those memories come alive again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Watch Spain win the World Cup in 2010 - in Madrid (even though they're not my team!)
- Decide to move to England from Canada over the course of a weekend
- Some of my best friends, who are now my English "family", I met 7 years ago, on my first backpacking trip.

So many more! I get way too excited talking about traveling!

Countries I’ve Visited
