Hello!

My name is Danielle. I am 20 years old and I love to travel. I grew up in New York, but currently live Florida. I am traveling with my cousin Caleb who is 18 years old. We are both eager to meet new people and experience new cultures in the most authentic way. We are adventurous, easy-going, and taking 7 weeks this summer to backpack around Europe. Our budget is very small so we are thankful for couch surfing. We couldn't be more excited!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have chosen to use couchsurfing for my trip in order to connect with the locals and authentically experience the cultures of new places. I am so grateful to the hosts of couchsurfing who open up their homes to travelers in order to make it possible to travel on a budget and have such memorable experiencess. Without couchsurfing we would not be able to travel for the amount of that we plan to.

I love indie music, especially the Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, and the Head and the Heart. I am a huge movie buff and enjoy many movies, all expect horror films.

I once rode on the back of an ostrich when I was 8 years old visiting Aruba.

I am hoping to improve my Italian, and I am also happy to help others improve their English if that is a goal of theirs. I love to share stories especially about our travels. Cooking is a passion of mine and I would love to cook with you if possible!
