ABOUT ME

I am a fun out going person. I love to travel and be open minded. Always willing to try new experiences and food. I graduated in 2014 with a BS in Political Science. While in school I did a study abroad in Leeds. I just returned to the United States in August after living in London for the past year. I'm living a bit of a gypsy lifestyle at the moment, traveling as much as possible and trying to save money for the next adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to be as happy as possible. I try to enjoy the little things in life and good people are everything. Without loving positive people life just wouldn't be as sweet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couch surfing experience but I have friends and travel buddies who swear by this website. As I said before I used to live in London (Islington), which is where I will be hanging out. I am only here for a short visit to do some work for a friend and also visit some friends. I have many many friends in London but unfortunately all live in flat shares, meaning they are a bit strict on having guests around. I am staying with my cousin for most of the time I will be visiting but I would like to be considerate and give her a bit of space. Would just need a place to sleep really as I will be working all day. But I'm always up for making new friends and chilling out!

Interests

I like trying new food and frequenting trendy restaurants. I am a caffeine addict and even have 4 years barista experience ;). I love to socialize and meet new people and enjoy wild nights out every once and a while. Also love animals and dabble in a bit of dog walking and animal sitting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to all types of music but actually my favorite kind is hip-hop. My favorite artist is Drake. I do enjoy all kinds of music and I love dancing. I love a good house club every now again. I'm always up for a good gig as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd have to say moving to the UK. I've always loved London. Even though I am young I have been to many different places because my parents love to travel. For some reason London has always been it for me. After I finished college I decided to take a year off and move to London. Technically it was legal but since I am from the U.S I could not get a proper visa. I had no flat and no job and only knew 2 people. Within the first week I found a flat and a cash in hand job. I loved everything about the city which is why I think everything fell into place for me so quickly. I was just happy to be in London. It was my dream. I stayed for a year and loved every single minute and do not have a single regret. I've made many life-long friends and seriously can't stay away for long.

My positive vibes! Also I am awesome at cooking Mexican food. I grew up in the U.S near the border of Mexico so I consider Mexican culture apart of my own. I'm a very open person and love sharing my own culture as well as learning about other cultures
