CURRENT MISSION

I have decided that at the ripe old age of 49 I need to ride a bicycle around as many countries as I can. Utilizing couch surfers should make this more fiscally possible.

My name is DanO. I love Jesus... He saved me. With that said; I also love people of other faiths. I think it is one of the most interesting things about the people of the world. I love to ride bicycles and motorcycles. I like to play the guitar - although my repertoire is limited. I like to share fine food and drink. I am interested in meeting other world citizens.

PHILOSOPHY

like I said... I love the people of the world... and would like to travel to see and meet others... preferably via bicycle. And if I can't travel at the present, having some of the world come to me would be great.

I just joined Couch Surfers. I am definitely interested in hosting travelers from other countries... on an individual basis. I have hosted travelers before now strictly by chance meetings.

Music, Movies, and Books

music is all over the place... except for techno and house. I write and play a bit myself. I like comedy movies. I'l watch 'My Cousin Vinny' with anyone who hasn't seen it before... hilarious. I should read much more than I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did drop out and motorcycle my home country of the United States 20 or so years ago. But I was on a motorcycle, and so I think I was traveling too fast, and it was over far too soon. With that said, I met many interesting and wonderful people. I would like to do the same on a bicycle.
