CURRENT MISSION

At the moment I am staying at my brothers place in Singapore and unfortunately cannot host any surfers. But I would soon like to head out traveling around Asia and Indonesia. And i would love to meet up with some fellow surfers! :)

ABOUT

I'm a 20 year old guy who grew up in the beautiful countryside of Sweden. End of spring 2013 i graduated my education at SvenEriksonsgymnasiet - SvenErikson Upper Secondary School.
After graduation i began working different jobs, doing my very best to save money for travel. And now, 2 years later, here i am!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal and passion the past 2 years have been to explore and experience the world we live in. I want to see new things, meet new people and make new friends. I want to change my view on the world and learn from every story the people of this world has to tell. I believe that life is meant to be lived, that emotions are meant to be felt and this beautiful world, meant to be explored.

That is why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Interests

My key interest is living life, in every imaginable way. I love nature and enjoy it as often as i can. I like working with my hands, being creative, in motion. I enjoy social activities and I easily make friends. I enjoy thrilling experiences, just as much as peaceful ones.
It is easy for me to tune in and find interesting things in whatever i do really.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is very precious to me. I know it's cliché but I listen to it all really, except the hardcore genres and whatever plays 5 times a day on the radio. I guess enjoying a lot of oldies is something that regularly occurs. One of my big heroes are Pink Floyd.

Movies are also a great work of art. I've always had somewhat of a side-dream producing movies. I enjoy movies with thoughtful scenery and music, as well as characters. My favorite producer is Quentin Tarantino.

As a child I was really in to literature, something I lost when entering the teenage years. Lately I have been beginning to pick the books up again which gladdens me. The books that has my interests right now are. Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, What the Dog Saw by Malcolm Gladwell and The Essential by Ken Wilber.

I believe that every person is a teacher. Just because you don't have a degree or certificate that states you are, does not mean that you haven't got something to teach.
I think one of the most unhealthy things a human can do is to separate himself/herself from the rest of the world, and create a barrier between ''me'' and ''you'', ''us'' and ''them''. We are all one, we live under the same sky. We share the same thoughts and the same feelings. To embrace that this world is not all about our individual stories, but about the story of us as a collective beeing, means a lot to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am really easy to talk to, so if you just want to spend an evening soaring around in topics between heaven and earth, I will be at your service.
As I grew up in a big house on the countryside, I am quite handy with manual labor and experienced with taking care of houses and gardens. So if you could use an extra pair of hands or need help with something you just can't figure out on your own, I will gladly assist you.

I believe am good company in most situations, whether you feel like a night out, a day exploring or even sitting at home and surfing the couch - I'm your guy, lets live life together!
