Fairly new to this vibrant student city and really enjoying it so far. Only problem is the mostly rainy and windy weather which we like to escape from together whenever we have free time.
My wish is to explore the globe through different experiences in terms of cities and villages, types of accommodation, nature, culture and people, I would love to see it all. As I was born in beautiful (Eastern) Europe, I'm on a quest to exploring as much of the continent as I can before moving to another one of the 7 (or rather 5 haha).
Born and raised in Bulgaria in a town on the Danube river called Ruse which was dubbed 'The Little Vienna' because of it's mesmerizing architecture resembling Austria's capital. Would love to host people there if I go over to stay for a longer period of time so watch this space!
Being always drawn to big cities though, I decided to move to London and was living there until my recent move to Groningen where I hopefully will be hosting some of you from autumn '16 on.
I'm following the vegan lifestyle, also striving toward a minimalistic one.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've travelled a lot with my parents throughout my childhood and were never picky about accommodation, we would instead embrace the new experiences and that would always lead to meeting new and interesting people on the way so I'd like to continue this little tradition.
I would also be delighted to let people surf on our couch or whatever we get in our future flat this autumn in Groningen and get to ride bikes together in the country of biking!
I'd also like to expand my circle of international friends.
I enjoy literature and I'm an aspiring writer of prose although been experimenting with poetry lately. Music played at home or at concerts or raves (Classic Rock, Alternative, Punk, Techno, Electronica, Jazz), fitness (biking, jogging, yoga, hiking, gym), cooking traditional dishes from world cuisines and baking sweets which is a strangely hidden talent of mine, spending time in nature and connecting with animals, watching quality films and having tv marathons...
Music, Movies, and Books
Those topics are the ultimate ice-breaker if you ask me, so better leave most of it for when we meet, I'll just name a few anyway:
Band - Placebo; film - Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola, Book - The Contortionist's Handbook by Craig Clevenger
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Proud to have lived in 3 countries so far at 18yo.
