Overview
About Me
I'm a housie. I'm extremely married. I work nights, my wife doesn't and probably never will- she is very ruled by the sun. We live in a tiny condo, I think it's 528 square feet but I'll have to ask her, she knows better than I. We don't have much in terms of "lifestyle" or "amenities" (bleh, fightin' words) but we are accommodating. Sort of. We can be, under the right circumstances. Hypothetically, I mean.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To horrify myself accidentally encountering yuppies in my effort to avoid oogles, so I can go back to horrifying myself by accidentally encountering oogles in my effort to avoid yuppies.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm more fond of Martin Buber, Erwin Schulhoff, and Steve Gerber's Howard the Duck than the average bear. My wife likes Morissey, Tori Amos, Henry James, Urusei Yatsura and Tenshi no Tamago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Remained employed for going on thirteen years, had no criminal record, all my neighbors said I seemed nice and polite...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to be an asshole, if you are willing to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cynicism, pessimism, frugality, I didn't want to know but I know where the drum circle is, I have a spare smart trip card for the metro, I have a car and a small rv and I know some free places to go camping, I know some intentional community people in northern Virginia if that's your thing-but not well enough to really pull any strings for anyone, I'm about a mile from a metro station and a few feet from a national park, I'm judgmental but I carry no authority- sort of like the international criminal court. War criminals welcome, provided they mind their manners. No pets, arms, munitions, biologic, chemical, or radiologic agents, no soliciting. No smelly people in months with no "r."
