ABOUT ME

I am 21 years old and I have an obession for travel. I recently graduated from college and ever since I have wanted nothing more than to see the planet. I truly enjoy spending any time in the outdoors which mostly includes canoeing, hiking and biking in the summers and winter camping of course in the winter.

PHILOSOPHY

my personal philosophy is nothing new or profound but just live life the way it was meant to be lived. outside, seeing the planet and not worrying about all of the superficial things in life such as wealth and success. Money is not by any means a measure of success.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to the Couch Surfing project. However, I do intend to offer my home to anyone who is passing through the area and needs a place to have a good meal, sleep, do laundry or just relax on their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly just crashed on my friends couches before. I have never actually travelled and crashed on peoples couches. I am very keen once I start to travel to begin using couch surfing. com to help me find places to stay and hopefully help others find accomodation.

Interests

Intersted in music, the environment, running and long distance travel. I enjoy planning long, extensive trips and divulge in reading about other peoples accounts of their travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic Rock including Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Peter Frampton, CSNY, Neil Young, CCR, Tho Who and some older blues musicians including Robert Johnston, B.B. King, Ray Charles. I also like a lot of folk music like Harry Manx. Books include Don Starkels "Paddle to the Amazon" and such. I would like to read more books on long distance bike trips and adventure books. I really liked Max Finkelsteins "Canoeing Across a Contienent: On the Trail of Alexander Mackenzie". Movies: Anything by Quentin Tarrantino or Martin Scorcesee.
