ABOUT ME
Sharp, dry wit; creative; savvy taste in music; learns new things quickly and with enthusiasm; likes napping. I'm a bit shy, but apparently good with people?
"Monday I had lunch with Davers and we talked about art, culture, Internet, and the catharsis of expression. You know, Davers things."
"Our challenger, Dave Rosales, has a bit of a more abstract, post-postmodern approach to design. Perhaps his background in photography will emerge tonight. It will be exciting to see where these two different aesthetics take us."
PHILOSOPHY
Someone once told me that every single person I meet in life will know something that I don't. I've ever since been trying my best to disprove this, and have delightfully not yet succeeded!
Interests
People with bright minds especially grab my attention, as well as people with similar interests and completely different backgrounds from mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Off the top of my head, one time I had a guest on my weekly mixed electronic music radio show (ktru.org) who improvised an entire 38-minute set of chiptune drum-and-bass music — all played off of two hacked original game boys, with some samples brought in from a PSP.
Teach, Learn, Share
Mostly I spend my time learning new things and then teaching them to other people, whether it be pricing software (my job), new kinds of electronic music, or stuff about the internet.
I especially want to learn more about user experience design. One day I hope to go to grad school for natural language processing, to make the next Siri a bit better.
I'm also pretty into the glitch art scene! Remotely, though. I can teach/share allll about this if it sounds interesting to you...
