I'm a young professional currently on a gap year in Southeast Asia.

I love food, drinks, movies, and traveling. I'm also a total news / politics junkie, so if you catch me staring at my phone, it's more likely the New York Times than Facebook.

When I'm traveling, I love going on photo walks at dawn and dusk. (Golden hour!) During the day, I love visiting museums, eating, and just wandering around. I also really enjoy going on runs—if you know any good routes, let me know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet more locals and connect more with a place and culture! I love to travel, but I'm not into tour groups and even backpacking/hostels leave something to be desired.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the past month, I've been helping my parents with charity projects throughout Vietnam. We've helped distribute food, winter clothing, and school supplies to children and others in rural areas. We've also overseen bigger projects like building bridges, constructing new homes, installing water filtration systems, and providing medical services. It's been quite an adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is probably the thing I'm best at! If you cook together and share some recipes, I'd be happy to buy groceries, help cook, and clean up after :)

I'm also really into photography! If you have a fancy camera but don't know how to use it, I'd love to teach.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of knowledge! Happy to teach people about cooking or photography. I can provide portraits or any other kinds of photos.
