Hi my name is David and I'm from Florida. This is my first time on the West Coast and I love it here so far. I'm a very fun-loving liberal individual that enjoys good company and intelligent conversation. I just recently verified myself because I do believe in this application and the quality of people within that I've met so far. It truly is amazing! My ultimate goal is to find a permanent home here in the Pacific Northwest, but for now just meeting people across the country is one of the coolest things I've ever done. I have an Associates in arts degree and have a total of 124 college credits towards information technology. I changed my major twice so it's taking me awhile. Once I establish residency I plan on going back to school immediately so I don't have to pay out-of-state tuition. I love this area and I'm going to give it 100% of my energy to make this work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing now because I drove across the country believing that I had a permanent monthly your room for rent and when I got there the place was a total mess and just unacceptable living conditions. Thankfully I lost zero money in the process. I'm on Couchsurfing to find friends in the area as well as some temporary places to stay while I find a permanent solution.

Interests

I love art of all kinds. Especially music. I enjoyed going to live music shows and festivals. I love to produce my own music through digital audio workstations via the computer. Enjoy drinking coffee and having some good quality conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading biographies. I recently read Steve Jobs biography and I was very inspired. Music is one of the biggest part of my life. I enjoy going to shows and festivals as well as producing my own electronic type music over the computer. I love movies very much as well. I'm a big Quinton Tarantino and David Lynch fan. I could go on and on and on when it comes to music and movies I love them so much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done recently is travel across the country and stand at the ocean in Oregon seeing the Pacific for my first time. It is so beautiful and different then the Atlantic Ocean I'm used to.

I believe I will always consider myself a lifelong student of the world and what it has to offer. I do have knowledge to share that I am not egotistical about it in any way.
