Overview
About Me
I grew up in South Carolina, but I knew I wanted to travel the world so I joined the Navy and ended up flying helicopters. It's been amazing, but now I'm ready for the next adventure so I resigned and will be going back to school next fall to start my next career.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm moving from San Diego to Charleston, so I finally have the opportunity to take the cross country trip I've always wanted, and I want to make sure I do it right. I'm a very social person who is traveling solo, so I'm excited to meet some interesting people who can hopefully provide some insight into the areas I'm visiting.
If this trip works out though I'm excited to start using this more often and try hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've got a huge soft spot for 90's country and rock, but I'll listen to almost anything.
I'm a history nerd so historical fictions are some of my favorites, although I'm also a big fan of mystery novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been really lucky to get to do a lot of cool things, but most recently some friends and I sailed down to Catalina from San Diego. I don't think I've ever been that sick in my life but I still loved every minute of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm hoping to find people who are as social as I am. I love surrounding myself with people who have different experiences and opinions than myself, I've found those always make for the most interesting conversations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got tons of great stories to swap from my travels and work experience!
