About Me

How to describe myself? Well I'd say for starters, because so many people have said it about me, I'm obsessed with food. I spend hours cooking making new recipes, going out to restaurants, researching cooking methods. It's a blast, it always feels like you can experience another culture or world through food. Pretty much nothing I won't try.

I'm a little introverted to begin, but pride myself on being quite the clown. I love telling tall tales that just "might" be true, you can never be sure, as long as they are funny.

Currently I'm stretching myself a little thin. I currently work for a healthcare software company, writing software for physicians on the iPad. Hours are long, but it's fun. Also I find that I can fill any free hours of the day studying Japanese. I've been at it for about 8 months, and while progressing nicely I could definitely some more practice. I'm a die hard video gamer, and enjoy a good challenge. Sports have been less of a focus in recent years, short of spectating, but I have recently joined a Kendo team and really enjoy it. Who'd have thought you could find one in KC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got my family out of a blizzard in the Alaskan mountains in a white out. Funnest ski trip I can imagine, although I'm pretty sure the rest of my family was having a heart attack at time.

I wish this list was longer, but I'm trying to work on that.
