Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS; unable to host anyone while I am in Newcastle, but would love to steal a couch off someone when I am in Europe!

Interests

I enjoy listening to and discovering new music, taking the time to enjoy a good meal or coffee, taking long drives and long walks. Thinking deeply, learning more about the world. I love architecture and exploring cityscapes. Currently studying German, so naturally I love German culture!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese and Guy Ritchie films. Also starting to get in to foreign film.

Music: Rammstein, Disturbed, Architects, Parkway Drive, etc. Also (and completely at odds with what I've written above): Mozart, Satie, Beethoven, Rachmaninov, and Massenet.

Books: Eclectic, to say the least. Lately, I've been reading a lot of the Western canon as well as the classics such as Orwell, Hemingway, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couple of moments come to mind. First would be seeing Sydney from the top of Westfield Tower; the entire city could be seen in all directions. Another would be boarding a cruise ship for the first time; I'd seen ships in movies before but I never quite fathomed how big they are up close.
